In July 2026, I completed an artist residency at Montello Foundation in Nevada, in a very remote high desert. It's a solo, self-directed residency; just time and space to work on my own. That isolation gave the residency its own rare quiet and open space, an opportunity to simply focus on my project. The landscape was intense and inspiring — so quiet I could hear my own blood streaming through my body. I'm grateful to Montello Foundation for the gift of that time and space.
